F1000 A/Mod by John Taylor & Dave Hutter Motorsports

Well, I read so many horror stories about 2-strokes and snow mobile clutches that I envisioned my self spending more time tuning and repairing my 440 than having fun in it. So, when I came across a Suzuki GS 1000 for sale last week, I decided to go A/Mod. I have owned several Japanese bikes from the 70's that never had more problems than a blown fuse!!! That is with 9000+ RPM power shifted bonsai starts as the norm! Let's see....100+ HP in a 750 lb car...should be a blast! -JT

Dave and I traveled one Saturday to Key West Florida to pick up a new project car A 1984 Red Devil Formula 440.

The following pics are close ups of my Red Devil being taken apart . I plan on keeping them in a manual for the car.
