Noise Patrol, Is your car too LOUD?
Well, we tried using a db meter and the results
showed it was not solving the problem. Noise complaints
were being received by the Board of Directors at
Mosquito Control, these are the nice people who give us
permission to use the site for our events. Because of
these complaints we are going back to the system of
using our ears for sound control. If you think your
car might be too loud it probably is and you will get a
warning or possibly not be allowed to run. Please, we
want to see you keep attending our events, if we don't
do so quietly there will no longer be any events.
Why are we doing this you ask?
In case you haven't noticed, we are getting more
and more neighbors moving into the houses along the
site. Our future depends on those people and what
they think about us. So, Ask yourself the
question, and be honest, could your car be a cause
for somebody to complain about noise levels at the
site. If you answered yes, then please do something
to make it better.
